The UP BOX+ is the largest of the printers in the
UP Range. Boasting an impressive 255x205x205mm
build size and high resolution prints, this is the
perfect machine for creating bigger models.
The UP Mini 2 is the newest addition to the UP
family of 3D printers. It takes many of the best
features of the original UP Mini, the ever-popular
UP Plus 2 and the larger UP BOX and packages
them all into a small, neat and portable machine.
As well as having a large capacity, the UP BOX+ also has plenty of
features to make it easy to set up and use such as WiFi connectivity,
automatic bed levelling and nozzle height detection. The heated bed
makes it suitable for both ABS and PLA prints and the fully enclosed
housing with HEPA filter gives excellent reliability in all conditions.

The maximum print size stays the same at 120x120x120mm but
the resolution has improved from 0.20mm to 0.15mm and the UP
Mini 2 has also gained automatic nozzle height calibration and a
HEPA filter. It is also the first printer in the UP range to have a touch
screen for easy set up and WiFi connectivity allowing you to control
your printer over a network or using the iPad app.
The touch screen can be used to control basic functions such as
calibration, adding filament, preheating the bed, turning the light
on and off and setting up the WiFi. It also gives information during
the printing process such as nozzle and bed temperature, progress
bar and time to completion for the current print. It also lets you
know how many grams of filament are left on the current spool of
material.
But perhaps the most surprising thing about the UP Mini 2 is that it
does all this for the same price as the original UP Mini.
